Thalia is a joyful, elegant figure in Greek mythology and one of the nine Muses. She was a goddess of comedy, dance and idyllic poetry and was portrayed with a smiling mask and crown of ivy. Always one to incite laughter and joy, Thalia is the inspiration for this exceptional sparkling range which brings effervescent joy to any occasion.

Behind the name
The first member of the Fogarty family to emigrate from Ireland arrived in Tasmania in the mid-1800s. Six generations later, the family returned to its Tasmanian roots and purchased the Lowestoft homestead and vineyard named after Thomas Lowes, who built the iconic homestead after arriving in Hobart from England aboard the vessel Thalia. The Fogarty family are excited to bring you these super-premium sparkling wines from a truly remarkable region.
